Besides moving the sofa in the room, I have been able to start placing other furniture and accessories back in. For like ever has been rehung with a different table underneath. The cubes below are old and I am looking for new fabric to make slipcovers. I have a few ideas.
Here is the fire place in all white. I like the art on the mantel compared to the circle mirror. The chairs need moved around, but I have not finalized on an official floorplan yet. I am so excited to start figuring out how to pull the whole room together.

Your experience trying to find a sofa lead me to write. I bought a Henredon that was delivered in April and, while it is clearly quality workmanship, we've been terribly disappointed because of the way it sits: the backs were so big when it first arrived, that we were bent over when we sat down. The company is sending new ones this week, but I think we're ready to move on. Has anyone bought the PB Basic at Pottery Barn or the Baby Grand at Rest. Hardware? Ideally, we'd like about 85-88 in. long and about 38 in. deep, but that's hard to find. And we're still debating a standard or down cushion. I didn't know that finding a sofa would be soooo hard.
